How to Create Ms Paint Transparent Background in Windows 11 Paint Version (How to make Ms paint transparent)
“””
We shall start by showing — you how to Create a Transparent Background in — Windows 11 Paint Version—.
“””
Okay….If you have Windows 11, it is going to be easy peasy—…
That is because— the updated version of Microsoft Paint— now has added layers, —.pretty much like in tools such as Photoshop, —. where you are able to make your desired edits once you add them—..
Just keep this in mind—: If you erase anything on Paint’s first layer, — the subsequent background will actually be transparent. —.
So there is a super handy background layer—. and all you need to do is —.right click on this background layer—. and then select “Hide” to make your image turn transparent—..
—.Easy, uh? —.
How to Create Ms Paint Transparent Background in Windows 10 Paint Version
The problem comes when—. you are using Windows 10 Paint Version— that is Microsoft Paint 10.
—..
First, —.there are way more steps —..depending on what you want to do.. —..
Let me demonstrate what to do if you want to copy an image into another with a transparent background:
First the steps..
- make sure you have ticked “transparent selection” (see it under Select button’s drop-down menu)
- next copy the section/image you want to be laid over the other picture/image using Select tool
- Optional: You may change color 2 to have it match the exact section you want made transparent (e.g. if you want the small space to be green, just change color 2 to be green using the color dropper tool and right-clicking)
- Finally paste the image- if you’ve done all steps right, the section you need transparent will now be transparent and you can go ahead and position it where you want on the other image
Otherwise, for some instances, you may have to use a different paint or drawing application like Paint.net or photoshop because this version of Microsoft paint is limited when it comes to the background removal feature.
For that reason, our best recommendation-particularly if you use paint so often- is to upgrade to Windows 11. You will enjoy using the enhanced background and layers features.
